Overview

Fishka Shop is a small board game online store in Cherkasy. It grew out of a local club of board game lovers thanks to an enthusiast who used to bring them from all over Ukraine.

Prerequisites

Fishka Shop did not have an online presence and needed an eCommerce store with the possibility of further development. The client turned out to be a friend of one of Default Value’s employees, and we decided to help him. Even though the project was small, it still had one challenge—the budget. As a rule, our company is engaged in larger projects, so in this case, it was necessary to develop a high-quality and inexpensive website to stay within the client’s budget.

Solution

Such a short project consisted of only a few steps:

  • Requirements gathering
  • Implementation
  • Consulting and staff training (including writing work instructions for using the site, taking into account that the staff had never used eCommerce solutions)

Results

We managed to make a convenient and inexpensive online store in a short time without going over the client’s budget. The latter was one of the most critical requirements.

This project is direct proof that Magento is suitable not only for medium and large businesses but also for very small projects.
